How does it introduce the characters & setting?	In the beginning of the film we can see that the main characters are presented straight away. During the beginning of the film we can see that all the characters are walking towards the same car. During the walking scene we can see that their names are being shown to the audience. The setting of the film is sunset based.	In the beginning of the film we can see that the main characters aren’t shown, however during the beginning we can see the setting that is shown throughout it. This brings the overall beginning of the movie being more full of suspense as it shows the crime pictures of the seven biggest sins.
How does it introduce the themes & narrative?	The themes are shown successfully as the main characters in the film look like they are going to go somewhere to do a crime. This introduced the themes and starts to engage the audience. Also the narrative in the film started to be displayed as it starts to show the a group of friends heading towards the car. The music in the build up to this made the audience have some suspense.	The themes in the film have been shown efficiently as it starts with pictures of crimes that leads up to many themes that audiences can identify with. Moreover the narrative starts to built up and the audience starts to feel engaged.

This is because during the beginning of the film a variety of camera angles are used including; long, short, zoom points. This is create a better vision for audiences to see and understand the characters better. Furthermore, in the film editing and sound are used to create suspense and mystery. This is because the characters are walking to a car and the sound and editing makes the audience on the edge of their seat as they want to find out what is going to happen next.	In Seven, there is a variety of technical language that is used in the film. One method that has been used is the editing of the film. During the beginning of the film, there is a lot of different methods to show crimes that have been committed and displayed. This starts to help the audience understand what has happened and gives them a sense of what the film is going to be about. The same goes with the sound. As the sequence of editing is taking place, the music that is used in the film creates a mystery and dullness. This will help the film develop and grow as the film has only began. This allows audiences to feel consumed with what is going to happen next in the film.

This is because it presents the main characters all in one go but shows their status in the film. This leaves clues in the film as the audience wants to find out more about each character.	In the Seven, it engages the audience in many ways. One way this is presented is the photos in the crime scenes. This creates elements of confusion for audiences as they want to find out what has happened. This leaves clues in the film which leads to the main enigmas in the film. Also this keeps audiences intrigued with what is going to happen next in the film.
